Dr. John Kimble has been with the practice twenty-eight years.  A New Orleans native, Dr. Kimble is married with three grown children.  He attended medical school at LSU School of Medicine, did his surgical internship at Ochsner Foundation Hospital, and did his Ear Nose and Throat training at Tulane.  This included experience at Charity Hospital, The Eye, Ear, Nose and Throat Hospital, Ochsner and Tulane Hospitals.  Dr. John Kimble is Board Certified by The American Board of Otolaryngology.

Dr. Kimble sees patients in his office adjacent to West Jefferson Medical Center.  He does surgery at West Jefferson Hospital, West Jefferson Surgery Center and the new WestBank Surgery Center on Lapalco Boulevard.  Dr. Kimble has served as Chief of Surgery, Chairman of the Credentials Department and a member of the Executive Committee of West Jefferson Medical Center.

Dr. Kimble practices the entire range of common ear, nose, and throat diseases.  His special interests are in medical and surgical treatment of sinus disease, treatment of children’s’ problems, especially tonsil, adenoid and ear tube surgery, ear surgery, and sleep and breathing problems.

A lifetime resident of Metairie and New Orleans, Dr. Kimble enjoys saltwater fishing, thoroughbred horse racing and hiking in Colorado.
